Detailed Analysis of "The Analects": For All Those Who Misinterpret Confucius (49)

The Master said: Learning without thinking leads to bewilderment; thinking without learning leads to peril.
Yang Bojun: Confucius said: "Only reading without thinking leads to being deceived; only daydreaming without reading leads to lack of confidence."
Qian Mu: The Master said: "Merely learning from the outside without using thought will end in bewilderment. Merely using thought without learning from outside will end in peril."
Li Zehou: Confucius said: "Learning without thinking leads to bewilderment; thinking without learning leads to danger."
Detailed explanation: This is a chapter more thoroughly radical than Kant's "intuitions without concepts are blind, concepts without intuitions are empty." "Learning" (学) — hearing the "Way of the Sage," seeing the "Way of the Sage," "comparing against" the "Sage," constantly "calibrating" in real society — this takes difference as its premise. "Thinking" (思), as the Shuowen dictionary states, "思, means to contain (容)." "Containing" (容) cannot be separated from a certain paradigm — for example, a sieve does not "contain" water. And there is the concept of the "unthinkable" (不可思议), whose corresponding subtext is that "the thinkable" has an implicit standard; whatever exceeds this standard is deemed unthinkable. The premise of "thinking" lies in identity/sameness. For example, to be "thinkable" by Euclidean geometry, the subtext is that the rigid-body property of object movement possesses identity among the objects being "thought" about, which is why it is possible to treat all squares with equal side lengths as identical. Without "identity," all science would be unthinkable. Take physics — a simple example of identity is that in special relativity, all inertial reference frames are treated as identical. Without this requirement of identity, special relativity could not even get started. In philosophy, even Heidegger, who took it as his mission to reconstruct metaphysics, could not escape a certain subtext of "identity" in his "thinking" of Being.
Regarding "learning" premised on difference and "thinking" premised on identity, Confucius's insight shares something with Derrida. In Derrida's framework, difference and identity are entangled in différance, simultaneously present or absent. In différance, it is impossible to purely decompose or establish difference and identity, nor is it possible to construct or structure différance from difference and identity. This has nothing whatsoever to do with the nonsensical dialectics of "combining two into one" or "dividing one into two." Garbage propositions like "combining two into one" or "dividing one into two" could only be treated as treasures by philosophically illiterate quack philosophers.
The above three scholars and the usual interpretations all fail to understand what "learning" means and what "thinking" means, let alone the premises implicit in "learning" and "thinking." "Learning without thinking leads to bewilderment; thinking without learning leads to peril" is a classic example of mutual textual illumination (互文). Seeking the so-called "learning without thinking" or "thinking without learning" can only lead to bewilderment, weariness, and futility. "Learning" and "thinking" are entangled together in the present moment, inseparable. Any "learning" takes the "thinking" of identity as its premise — even Kant understood this clearly: without some presuppositional structure of "thinking," "learning" is impossible. And any "thinking" takes the "learning" of difference as its premise — this is something Kant could not have known. When Derrida says "I present myself to myself only after language," that begins to get closer to the mark.
Chán Zhōng Shuō Chán's Vernacular Direct Translation
子曰:学而不思则罔,思而不学则殆。
Confucius said: Separating the "learning" of difference from the "thinking" of identity can only lead to bewilderment, weariness, and futility.

What's wrong with Sina's system? This ID hasn't even posted yet and there's already a reply?

Thank you OP, you work so hard. OP giving that Luo X guy two resounding slaps was so satisfying!

The traitors who jump out aren't scary — the worst are the deeply hidden traitors who strike suddenly. So today's hesitant market movement is understandable — after all, some deeply hidden traitors haven't fully surfaced yet. As for that American — coming to Chinese territory, where does he have the right to speak!

I saw a report recently — China Mobile's boss said it's not a question of whether, but when. Looks like the return is already a done deal.

Naturally, but if it takes too long, enthusiasm will wane, and the timing with the market won't be right, so it won't achieve maximum impact — that's the biggest issue. Of course, people are naturally urging them to come back quickly, but some things simply can't be fully controlled.

Chan sis, a question:
Is a hub (中枢) composed of only 3 trend segments? If there are more than 3, how do you determine if it's a hub or consolidation?
==
You seem to have not read any of the existing posts at all. A hub and consolidation are fundamentally things at two different levels. Also, you seem to have completely missed the later content regarding hub extension and such.

Sina's system really is broken. If you search "Chán Zhōng Shuō Chán" on Sina's blog homepage, you get a page with no articles.
What goes up must consolidate or drop...... this is also the "identity" of your theory?
Right? It's the basis of the theory?
==
Identity is far more than just the basis of theory — it is also an inevitable attribute of human existence. Humans tend toward identity. For example, what can be "thought" by the ear possesses an identical attribute — namely, belonging to the category of sound. Identity is a profound philosophical proposition
— it's not as simple as people usually think. Whenever there is "thinking," one is within identity.
"I think, therefore I am" — this takes identity as its premise.

OP, how much more room does the fast-moving consumer goods sector have?
===
This is a sector that this ID already heavily traded last year. Regarding this sector, this ID has quite a few stories to tell — perhaps when there's time. The sector still has some potential, particularly those at not-too-high price levels. For this sector, this ID's focus this year is mainly on reducing positions, especially those above 30 yuan. The liquor one's situation is somewhat special since the price level isn't that high after all. The freed-up capital has gone into the five sectors like nonferrous metals, military industry, etc.
Medium-term, this sector should still have some performance ahead, since institutions — especially funds — are particularly numerous in it.

Sorry, quite a few typos in today's replies. Please bear with it — shouldn't affect the meaning. This ID can only type using pinyin and doesn't want to learn anything else.

Chan sis, if I want to follow your stocks, what level of buy point should I use to enter?
===
Forget it — they've already left the bottom, no need to buy anymore. Actually, during this big drop, using the third-type buy point method you could find a whole bunch of stocks. Look at the ones hitting new highs and limit-up today — quite a few launched from Friday's third-type buy point completion positions. Once you've mastered the method, you can find good stocks yourself. You don't have to follow this ID — this ID isn't a market maker, just often fiercer than one.

Hello OP: Today I attacked 580994 around 0.392. Did two waves and held overnight. Does this qualify as a first-type buy point? Eagerly awaiting...

Note — there's no need to get involved with these that are about to be suspended. Don't let gambler's mentality take over. If there's a chance, get out first. Even with the best technique, always put risk first. The biggest risk in the market is when there's no time for you to correct mistakes, making errors permanent. In the market, the power of compounding is the greatest — with good mindset and technique, compounding is inevitable, and that can overcome everything.

Sorry, this ID has to go to that street where those certain types of people are most numerous. There have been some arrangements there recently, so I often go check in. Will be back tonight to continue — goodbye.

This ID means what it says — the traitors want to buy? They'll have to buy the stocks back at 20% higher. A few rounds back and forth and all the traitors will be in negative equity!
Today, all of this ID's stocks that should hit new highs did. Among the old 8 stocks, 5 hit new highs. The pharma one's adjustment was mentioned a few days ago — you should've been mentally prepared. The Shandong one's chart is still rather messy, as mentioned before — at least several parties are in there, but the situation is improving. As for the "five fingers gripping something" one, it rallied too fast earlier, and the news realization still needs time, so there's no need for new highs unless the broader market does especially well. As for the five sectors mentioned later — I won't name specific stocks, but they should all be fine.
The current broader market still needs some coordination for the consolidation pattern to break. Whether 3000 points is breached doesn't really matter much — even after breaking through, oscillations are unavoidable, so short-term timing becomes quite important. Of course, if your technical skills are average, don't worry too much about short-term trading — focus on mastering the techniques first.
ICBC performed well today, but pressure remains. China Unicom's biggest medium-term catalyst is 3G and China Mobile's return. Once China Mobile actually comes back, Unicom's performance becomes very worth anticipating. I once said steel is last year's nonferrous metals, and pharma is last year's liquor — this month's performance in both sectors proves it. Then there was the question of what is last year's banking? Two conditions were given back then — one being the large sea turtle — whether China Mobile returns on schedule still has some uncertainty, so everyone is taking it one step at a time. Banking last year also started out looking hesitant, which is quite similar.
