A Quick Sketch of Myself

There's another question that must be answered first. I once saw the moderator accuse me in a post, saying there are too many people these days who hide their identities like turtles pulling in their heads. So now, to please the authorities, let me sketch a quick self-portrait.

Name: Xiaoren. Actually, even if I said my real name, you wouldn't have heard of it. Zhang San, Li Si — take your pick.

Marriage: Way too early. Even when the time comes, I won't be interested — mainly out of compassion. Just think: someone as tall, mighty, and magnificent as Xiaoren — once bound to a single person, all the others waiting with bated breath would be driven to utter despair. For the sake of eliminating self-immolation in China, I'm not doing anything that foolish.

Lovers: From the Earth all the way to the star Vega. Of course, the Weaving Maiden herself is not among them — she's too old.

Hobbies: Besides hobbies related to English letters, I have research interests in mathematics, physics, philosophy, and music. Right now I'm busy turning "Hamlet" into an opera. If I get the chance, I'll let you hear my high C.

Normally I practice piano three hours a day, vocal training two hours, and spend the rest of the time composing, writing poetry, or doing other mischief. Good deeds — I basically never do any.
