A General Report on This ID's Current Medical Condition

2008/4/28 15:17:51

This ID writes these things to truthfully document an operation -- and at the same time, to show everyone that life can be faced with composure from the perspective of an operation.

Here, there is no flesh or disease belonging to this ID -- only all operable resources, and the series of operations and final outcomes that unfold based on these existing resources.

Last time I shared the CT results from the neck up. Today the chest and abdominal results are in. The main issue remains lymph node metastasis. Among the internal organs, the liver is showing initial signs of infection, and the lungs have some shadowing, though it has been classified as mild inflammation.

The current problem is that it cannot be definitively confirmed as nasopharyngeal carcinoma, because that aspect is actually not severe. What's severe is the metastasis caused by lymph node enlargement, with the most serious area being in the neck.

The doctors recommend starting with conservative treatment first -- they're worried that jumping straight into radiation and chemotherapy might be too much to endure.

More specific developments will be written about in subsequent updates.
