That Night, His Bodily Fluids Sprayed All Over Me (XX, XXI)

"Mr. Wang, what sports do you usually enjoy? Golf? Tennis?"
"Oh, don't call me Mr. Wang. Just call me Old Wang—feels more friendly. I usually play some tennis, swim a bit. Golf's not my thing—my best is around 90 strokes. Haha! What about you? Young people surely have many hobbies!"
"There's very little I don't enjoy. All walks of life, orthodox and unorthodox, politics, economics, literature, sports, history, philosophy, math, physics—I seem to do alright in all of them."
"Haha, at such a young age, you're becoming quite the Renaissance person!"

And so they chatted about everything under the sun for about an hour. Close to 9 o'clock, he suddenly said:

"Want some rock sugar blood swallow's nest? It's good for the skin!"
"No thanks, it's getting late!"
"It's not even 9 yet. Do you have things to do tonight? Someone waiting at home? Haha!"
"No!"
"Oh, you're not married? Must not have found anyone good enough!"
"That's not it either. Too many things going on, no time to think about these things!"
"True, too many social engagements. Can't help it. Are there any evenings that are a bit peaceful?"
"It was even busier a few years ago. Better now. I push off whatever I can!"
"When you're free in the evening, what do you do?"
"Nothing much. A bit of painting, a bit of calligraphy, a bit of piano, a bit of vocal practice!"
"Oh, you've studied singing too?"
"Yes. I once studied bel canto under a renowned teacher. At one point I was planning to go sing opera."
"Haha, truly a Renaissance person."

On the screen, thick smoke poured ceaselessly from that famous building into the smoke-filled sky.

On the desktop, the screen flickered.

"I

This is a day that demands blood
Hatred tears apart hatred
Terror tears apart terror
Matter collapses the fragile symbol
Molten gold sears the eyes of the earth

Rock, milky white, sutures the earth's harsh bitterness
The battle of evil against evil challenges the extremes of evil
Each is the source of the other's void

All directions, lost amid unfamiliar inertias"

On the screen, the cursor blinked.

"II

A workday without a beginning
What begins is only the dust that covers everything
The dust of hatred covers all the sky
Everything dustlike is flying

Nothing begins

Matter, fragments, flying like paper scraps
Flying paper scraps inscribed with the truth of vanity
Seeds, hatred, rampaging again and again
Orange light seals every passage

Nothing begins to close

Trembling hatred crawling through the bright ruins
Flesh and spirit flying again and again, mocking the hardness of matter
Nothing begins to close, closing every beginning
Nothing closes to begin, beginning every closing

Flying without cover—dog doesn't care

III

A voice without a date is not ancient
Today's ancient voice has no date
The ancient today, withering day by day
A dateless voice slides toward a distant starfield

Another one's world of existence
Narrating one by one another's phantasmagoria
The starfield somewhere, a dateless voice
The not-ancient today withers the starfield's date

The voice, phantasmagoric, exists without a date
Sliding toward the ancient today
Narrating the dateless withering"

Outside the window, a sky without smoke—the moon at its zenith.

The market continues to play out according to script. The traitors were beaten into turtle mode today—apart from some petty tricks, they accomplished nothing. Last week Shanghai was waiting for Shenzhen to break through that high-point trendline. Today Shenzhen broke through with a gap, and Shanghai followed suit. However, the gap that was left also provides an excuse for subsequent volatility. The validity of Shenzhen's breakout of that line also needs confirmation. From a purely technical perspective, the pull-back force of that gap is the main short-term pressure.

On individual stocks, second-tier names continue to be fierce. For first-tier large caps, since Sinopec and others will have very good earnings announcements, too much suppression may be somewhat difficult. As long as this healthy sector rotation continues, the overall market shouldn't have major issues. But short-term technical shakeouts are unavoidable, and one can do a bit of short-term trading based on short-term indicators. Of course, if your technique isn't good, don't run around aimlessly—the 5-day line isn't even broken. Just watch.

Currently the only thing that might trigger a major market shakeout is the regulators' attitude. But unless someone's brain has absorbed too much traitor-water, an overly severe shift is impossible. Such a good situation—everyone should cherish it, especially the regulators. Don't forget the pain the moment the wound heals. All the back-and-forth tinkering at most hurts retail investors—could it really hurt someone like this ID? So behave—if the traitors come crying at the door, just kick them away.

Sis, is Sinopec announcing earnings tomorrow? I see its appointment date is the 10th.
=
Please ask the exchange about that kind of question. But their earnings are solid, and Q1 growth is decent too. That's enough.

May I ask Chan-MM—recently lots of stocks around 10 yuan have had massive volume. Are the big players distributing?

==
Distributing at 10 yuan, to be beaten back to 5? Look at how many stocks in the market are below 5 yuan right now.

[Detailed technical question about same-level decomposition from Lessons 38/39, regarding the conditions for selling at Ai+4 when consolidation divergence occurs vs. holding when Ai+3 doesn't break Ai's high]
==

This procedure is very clear. Generally, follow consolidation divergence. But there is one special situation where consolidation divergence doesn't occur—when a smaller level transforms into a larger level. In this case, if the previous high isn't broken, it's just a new trading range, so naturally you hold. If it is broken, you must exit, unless there is a powerful non-divergent new high situation.

Chan-MM, regarding the regulators' attitude—judging from the new rumors about postponing stock index futures, they don't approve of the current price level?
Also, adjustments mostly start with investigations of companies. Could Hangxiao Steel be the fuse?

=
This ID also opposes launching stock index futures now. Currently basically all funds are at too low a skill level—they haven't even mastered the spot market and want to play futures? Then I'd suggest everyone who bought funds redeem quickly.

----------------
Boss, even when it breaks and you must exit, you'd wait for the bounce that fails to break the previous high, or for consolidation divergence, to exit—not exit immediately on the break, right?

=
Correct—one cannot panic-sell. And there still exists the possibility of continued non-divergent new highs. However, what's discussed here is a relatively rough method. If one wants to be more precise, one can exit before the break occurs. Of course, if it's a mechanized program, it's generally rougher. But as long as one can persist, super returns are guaranteed.

Sis,

Dumb question: if the market keeps going like this and everyone's making money—I've been randomly trading and already up 50% this year, never mind the institutions—then who's actually losing money?

==
Look at how many funds this year can't even beat the index.

Hello Chan-master! Stocks have risen so much they've become a greater fool's game. I wonder if five years of decline will be enough in the future? 50x P/E ratio. Many years of earnings are already priced in. I'm fully invested now, but in my heart I think the stocks we're trading are truly waste paper. In the future, once the market reaches a major top, please give us a heads-up. Thank you!

=
Many large-cap stocks don't even have 20x P/E ratios. How can you say there's a problem now?

Please re-read the analysis on the associative law.

Concepts are confused. a and c can also not exist—then you'd only need 6 segments. So what standard would that be? The standard is the case where everything exists.

[Detailed questions about trading range expansion when B and C overlap]
==
Two 30-minute trading ranges B and C, if they have overlapping intervals, necessarily expand into a daily-level trading range. This does not mean (B+c+C) itself forms a daily trading range.

==
With the associative law, direction isn't the most important thing.

=
C is of course not necessarily completed. The classification after expansion is no different from the normal classification of any trading range.

Tonight during prime time, Shanghai TV's First Financial channel's "Talking Stocks" was suddenly pulled, and it says "Monday-Thursday, 'Talking Stocks' replaced by 'First Real Estate.'" Seems like it's been this way. No reason given. Is this an ill omen for the market?

=
Under all the market's ill omens and jinxes, it has already risen nearly another 1,000 points. If the market's rise really makes your heart unable to take it, go half-position. That'll be more comfortable. If your heart feels nothing, then at minimum watch the 5-day line. If the 5-day line isn't even broken, what's there to say? Those with good technique—watch for divergence. Once there's true divergence, the Jade Emperor himself could say it'll rise, and it'd be useless.

Chan-master, for a stock that broke away from its previous trading range and rose, but then fell back without breaking the lowest point—how do you operate it?

==
Don't ask what to do after it's already fallen. If on your operating level a top divergence appeared, you should have sold. At that point it hadn't fallen yet. The fact that it fell proves your divergence judgment had problems. Of course, you also need to watch for the situation where a smaller level transforms into a larger level—more on that later.
