For ordinary people, general relativity is probably the simplest example. There, material structure and geometric structure are deeply unified, and structures like gravitational fields correspond to special geometric structures. If you're interested, find a textbook on general relativity and see the power of such geometric structures for yourself.

This ID's theory is essentially constructed from this modern physics perspective to build its own energy-dynamics structure. Here, everything is determined by geometric structure; all forms of energy and dynamics are geometrized. Therefore, you must undergo this fundamental shift in thinking to achieve true understanding. Otherwise, if you're still stuck in that feeble-minded Newtonian-era thinking, you'll fall into the trap of mechanistic thought.
