Democracy, a Savior Even Greater Than the Great Savior!

Perhaps because there have been too many hucksters, democracy has somehow become a get-out-of-jail-free card. Slap a "democracy" label on anything and it seems to become a treasure, something sacred and inviolable. Even those who oppose democracy merely wave one brand of democracy to attack another. The Left proclaims their democracy is the real democracy; the Right insists their democratic cucumber is the finest—such are the laughable antics of modern-day peddlers.

Under the so-called banner of democracy, the world has stumbled into the new century amid utter chaos. Democracy has become a savior even greater than the Great Savior! Democracy has become the miracle cure hawked at every turn! But just as every Great Savior is a figment of humanity's stupidity and cowardice, and every miracle cure a symbol of that same stupidity and cowardice, democracy stripped bare is nothing at all!

Democracy, at its root, is an elaborate contraption designed to rule the people! Even the very word "democracy" is stuffed with jokes and dirty dealings. There must be a "master" before there can be "subjects"; only when the people are made subjects can the masters continue their mastery. This filthy word "democracy" merely divides humans into the ruled and the rulers. These rulers may not be dictators or Sons of Heaven, but they enslave people more covertly than any dictator or Son of Heaven ever could!

A person is simply a person—not some "subject." The character mín ("subject/people") connotes máng ("commoner/vagrant"). Turning persons into subjects and then ruling over them—that is the filthiest of all filthy dealings. Today's so-called democratic societies use a set of so-called institutions to mask genuine enslavement—these are the dirty tricks modern society plays at every moment! No matter what form democracy takes, it is merely a euphemism for dictatorship. Lenin, to his credit, once pointed this out quite honestly.

Let me state it once more: only by stripping democracy bare and sending it to hell can human beings truly become human!
