Too Tired, No Time to Write — Just a Few Idle Words

Too tired, no time to write a proper post — just a few idle words.

I actually could have written a post, but after returning from an evening meeting, I looked at the contract they'd drafted below — it nearly made this ID pass out. It was completely wrong, not what this ID intended at all. This ID had to waste considerable time essentially rewriting the entire contract. Having to handle this kind of thing personally — truly dizzying.

I won't get into those wretched matters. To be honest, this ID has been getting busier and busier lately. Tomorrow afternoon there's another negotiation — someone is flying in from Hong Kong specifically, with a whole group of people. Not meeting them would be inappropriate. So if there are any lapses in attending to this blog, please forgive me.

Of course, this ID will do my best to keep it going. If it really gets too busy, please bear with me. Next week there's a ribbon-cutting event that requires a business trip — I have no choice but to go. This ID is now a bit worried that if too many things pile up, wanting to wash my hands of everything later may not be so simple.

Being in this world, things rarely go as one wishes. Seek quiet, and you become too isolated from the world. Once you enter the mortal world of affairs, many things are beyond your control. After all, things need a proper beginning and proper end — you can't just walk away from something half-finished.

During dinner, a phone call came trying to tempt this ID — saying SoftBank had invested in some project and asking this ID to put in some money too, claiming it would IPO next year. An old acquaintance — this ID couldn't easily refuse. I could only say "send over the project materials first." After reviewing the materials, if they're decent, not investing would be rude; investing means one more thing to deal with. How tedious.

Just now, while revising the contract, I suddenly felt very tired. Things have gotten a bit out of control. In any case, this ID has one aspiration: to fully pivot to cultural construction after 40. There are still too many years until then — how to endure it all.

Sorry — just a momentary bout of boredom, rambling aimlessly. My apologies.
