Ignorant Leftists: Bourgeois Democracy Is Reactionary, and Being Even Worse Than Bourgeois Democracy Is Even More Reactionary!

The leftists online keep talking about resisting bourgeois democracy and whatnot. But have they thought about what Marx actually said about bourgeois democracy? Marx never denied the progressive significance of bourgeois democracy -- what Marx criticized was bourgeois democracy's limitations. In other words, Marx's position was to transcend bourgeois democracy, not to fall behind it.

But these ignorant leftists, who don't even understand the most basic Marxist positions, equate opposing bourgeois democracy with supporting something below bourgeois democracy. This is utterly preposterous. Bourgeois democracy is reactionary -- this is a Marxist proposition. But being even worse than bourgeois democracy is even more reactionary -- this is an equally important Marxist proposition.

What Marx demanded was proletarian democracy that transcends bourgeois democracy, not some "democracy" that doesn't even meet bourgeois standards. Those leftists who use anti-bourgeois-democracy slogans to oppose all democracy are either genuinely ignorant of Marx or deliberately distorting Marx.

If you can't even reach the level of bourgeois democracy, on what basis do you talk about transcending it? This is the most basic logic. Sadly, these online leftists treat logic as their enemy, which only proves one thing: they are indeed the most degraded product.
