The Existence of Nanjie Village Is Extremely Unfavorable Evidence for Leftists Who Peddle the Mao Zedong Era

Leftists who spend all day peddling the Mao Zedong era are equally fond of peddling Nanjie Village. Rumor has it they are even organizing tourist visits -- probably with organizational reimbursement or publicly-funded travel again. But the simple-minded leftists don't realize that the existence of Nanjie Village is actually extremely unfavorable evidence for leftists who peddle the Mao Zedong era.

If Nanjie Village is a sham -- something conjured up through hype -- then the leftists' promotion of Nanjie Village has a big problem. For anything, especially in today's age of rampant counterfeits, are the leftists really so certain that Nanjie Village has no issues in this regard? Nobody would dare stake their head on it. If any leftist truly is willing to stake their head, please come forward publicly.

Even if Nanjie Village is not a sham, that would be even worse for the leftists. Think about it: Nanjie Village existed during the Mao Zedong era. Back then, nobody noticed it doing well -- presumably everyone was struggling, worrying about food ration tickets and meat coupons, with no time for hype. Now that Nanjie Village is thriving, this can only demonstrate that the current era is good -- so good that even Nanjie Village is thriving. The leftists probably know the parable about southern oranges becoming northern trifoliate oranges -- do they really need this explained?

For the leftists, what they need is fantasy, not reality. Because they fear reality -- the moment they touch reality, they can't even manage to hype anything. Instead of spending time peddling Nanjie Village, why not think carefully about why Nanjie Village, this "southern orange," can exist in today's era? That said, I hear visiting Nanjie Village is now a tourist attraction that charges admission -- which is rather dishonest of Nanjie Village, with a whiff of false advertising. Of course, the leftists have their publicly-funded travel or organizational reimbursement, so by all means, go ahead.
