Got back too late. In three hours, this ID has to do something supremely childish — probably can't sleep again until after 5 AM, so I must grab some rest now. No time to write a post. Yesterday I mentioned physics and geometry, so I'll use those as titles for two impromptu verses. Make do with these; if you're interested, please also watch the England vs. Germany match.

Physics

Chán Zhōng Shuō Chán

How would straw dogs know if heaven and earth are benevolent?
Nature's trajectories and laws become truth of their own accord
A human life, after all — the heart conditions matter
The laws of physics — why would God need to create man?
Components added together form a resultant force
Mysterious energies interpenetrate, transforming into common dust
Space-time overturned — superstrings dance
Illusory as a clear river in ten thousand folds of rippling light

Geometry

All phenomena ultimately reduce to number
How much do heaven and earth weigh in geometry?
Spacetime spirals and curls
Strings and branes — illusory yet towering
Force explodes from the void state
Fields transmit the waves of matter
Fiber bundles bloom in fury
Each single bundle — a galaxy
