Weekend Concert 19: Tonight, the Cello Continues to Seduce You!

2006/12/2 11:53:00

Tonight

the

Cello

continues to seduce you

Seduction needs no words. Tonight, let the organs take charge.

a MinorNo. 1CelloConcerto

France
impressions hazy
years too faint to erase
the wind stirs

D MajorNo. 5CelloSonata

The heart still strong
the body already old

e MinorCelloConcerto

A sky that tears the heart and lungs
the dying sun shattered
the Atlantic's boundless tears

Night approaches

It's the weekend — rest, practice how to kiss, whatever you like — just no stocks!

When will you let us hear your compositions from when you were 24?

There's too much plagiarism these days, especially in music -- way too much. Good stuff can't be casually put up. But for things that are clearly student exercises, it doesn't matter -- anyone who'd plagiarize even these is truly pathetic.

I'll put up this ID's first atonal composition later. This one was written during the summer before starting university -- a bit later than the previous ones.
