Gigolos and whores — the world's oldest profession, transcending all philosophy, science, and religion. Even from a historical perspective alone, a profession that endures and renews across the ages, imperishable through eternity — this is already sufficient to command the respect of all. Even from the so-called highbrow perspective: please tell me, which man in China today can match the literary cultivation of the courtesan Liu Rushi?!
Gigolos and whores merely use the organs on their own bodies for normal material exchange. They neither steal nor rob — absolutely legitimate. What is wrong with using one's own body to earn a living? May I ask: who in this world does not use their own body to earn a living? May I ask: is the brain not part of the body? Is the tongue not part of the body? Are the eyes not part of the body? Is the nose not part of the body? Are the feet not part of the body? Are the hands not part of the body? May I ask: who in this world can earn a living without relying on any part of their body? Such a person certainly does not exist — unless they are a corpse!
Thus, the only logically possible ground for criticizing gigolos and whores is this: that different parts of the human body are ranked by nobility and baseness. Because gigolos and whores use the "lowest" parts of the body to earn their living, they are thereby low, and thereby open to criticism! But everyone knows that no person could become a person without that so-called "lowest" part of the body. If that part is truly the lowest, then pray tell, how can the product of something so low be noble? Everything comes from the same pipe — who, and which part, can claim to be nobler than the rest? Even the brain that generates such thoughts, the mouth that speaks them, and the hand that writes them all ultimately derive from this so-called lowest part. What right have any of them to look down upon it?
The lowest in this world are not those who sell their bodies — because everyone sells their body; the only difference is which parts. The lowest in this world are those who presume to rank nobility and baseness within equality — because they have appointed themselves God. There is only one kind of person who is truly the lowest: garbage that doesn't regard itself as human but as God! Anyone who tries to play God and divide people into noble and base, high and low, will ultimately be trashed by history, and will likewise be trashed by reality!
