From the Internet Left's Ignorant Explanation of the Poincare Conjecture, We See the Infantile Disease of the Left!

The hallmark of the internet left's infantile disease is treating ignorance as wit. The world they seek to design is one of idiots, where everyone just gapes with drool running from their mouths. Recently the Poincare Conjecture has been hot news. The left, lacking learning and skill, and without sufficient knowledge to understand it, fabricates various common-sense-level so-called explanations to fill the psychological gap caused by their ignorance.
A popularized real-world explanation of a theory is merely for public interest — it doesn't even count as introductory, let alone the theory itself. The reason theory is far more powerful than reality is first because it can encompass reality. But if a theory only explains reality or is merely explained by reality, it is not a theory — it is just a crude recording of reality. So-called "reality" is limited to what human senses can perceive. But limited to the senses alone, humanity would never advance, and things like electromagnetic waves and black holes could never be studied. Real-world phenomena are merely special cases of theory — that is the power of theory itself. Just as different geometries correspond to different worlds, the existing world is merely a contingent special case.
When the left uses blowing up balloons to explain the Poincare Conjecture, that is the beginning of dumbing down the masses. It's like telling the world it's only Euclidean. But even in two dimensions, there exist three possible geometric forms: Euclidean, elliptic, and hyperbolic. The left's so-called balloon corresponds to only the second type. If the left insists that the balloon is everything, then the left should admit it is two-dimensional — missing something. And the left's so-called inner-tube-outer-tube conjecture merely states a special case of homeomorphism in popular terms, yet they think this is the Poincare Conjecture. Treating this as a treasure is laughable to the extreme. In three dimensions, even just locally homogeneous geometries come in eight types — this is the Thurston starting point for solving the Poincare Conjecture. Theory sees further than bare perception. When the left thinks their balloon is the entire world, the so-called left will forever be at the level of blowing up balloons — and when they can't even blow balloons, they blow hot air. This is the basic symptom of all leftist infantile diseases.
Knowledge is power. But for the internet left, whose goal is to dumb down the masses, what they fear most is knowledge. What they fear most is the masses coming into contact with real knowledge. They try to tell the masses that the existing world is the only world, and enslave them accordingly. The commonality of knowledge is not achieved through so-called common-sense popular explanations. Any person, given sufficient perseverance, can master any knowledge — this is the foundation of knowledge's commonality. And the revolutionary power of science lies not in explaining the existing world to satisfy human vanity. The power of science lies in breaking through common sense and creating a new world — because all common sense is merely historical and will ultimately perish. This is also what Marx repeatedly argued.
Internet leftists — go back and read some books. Stop embarrassing yourselves!
